Enjoy the rest of the weekend...

Thanks to Coach Timlin for setting up the scrimmage for this afternoon.  The coaches all felt that the kids moved the puck very well, and we saw selfless play throughout the entire scrimmage.  This team is starting to fire on all cylinders whis will make them tough to beat down the stretch.  Back to work tomorrow night for practice.

Strong Effort....
by posted 02/14/2021

The Coaches felt a much stronger overall game this morning @ Ponkapoag.  Each of the kids played hard, and they were moving the puck well.  We always take pride in earning a shutout as it represents a team accomplishment.  We only have (4) games left in the regular season with nothing scheduled for next weekend, however Coach Timlin is looking to set something up against Hingham (stay tuned).  After that we have (1) game the following weekend {2/27), and (1) game the weekend of (3/1) and finish up the season with (2) games the weekend of (3/7).  The playoffs should start the following weekend - and these kids are well posied to make a run for The SSC crown.

Just a friendly reminder that Coach Sands rented out Ulin for 2:00 PM this afternoon to celebrate Eli's birthday by playing old school 'pond hockey'.  Just skates, gloves and helmets - pond hockey style and no need for full equipement.  Hope everyone can make it...

Game Recap
by posted 02/13/2021

The coaches felt that for a good proportion of that game we were out played.  We lacked consistent effort and energy. and then we started  'running around', abandoning our positions and Duxbury took full advanatge of it. This game went down to the end, and we somehow found a way to score (3) goals in the final (4)-minutes to take control of the game and gain the victory. Happy with the resolve and that they never quit, but we will be looking for a much stronger and complete game tomorrow morning.  Rest Up...because 'laziness does not live on this roster'.  Early Bird Game tomorrow morning @ 7:00 AM

Cngratulations goes out to The Paille Family on the birth of their daughter.  Big Brother Wyatt scored the game winner for his baby sister with 2:38 secs left in the game. Good Stuff!!
